I said in the game preview that I didn't think the proposed lines for tonight's game would last very long.
It turns out they didn't even last until game time.
NEW PITTSBURGH PENGUINS LINE COMBINATIONS FOR TONIGHT'S GAME:
Matt Cooke - Sidney Crosby - Evgeni Malkin
Chris Minard - Jordan Staal - Petr Sykora
Tyler Kennedy - Maxime Talbot - Miroslav Satan
Paul Bissonnette - Dustin Jeffrey - Eric Godard
Brooks Opik - Ryan Whitney
Rob Scuderi - Kris Letang
Hal Gill - Alex Goligoski

I like these lines a lot better. They add some desperately needed grit to the line-up. I've thought Cooke deserved a shot on the first line for a while, and Bissonnette (who was called up today) and Godard will keep the Flyers goonery in check. It will be interesting to see how Minard performs in a scoring role. He has become quite the offensive force in WBS this year.
Also, Gill and Goligoski are in and Boucher and Eaton are out, which is good news.

Dupuis goes from first line with Crosby and Malkin to a healthy scratch?
Did he insult Therrien's mother or something?
Very glad to see Gogo back in the lineup though. I think we should move Malkin to the half-boards on the PP, let Gogo take his spot on the point.
I believe Dupuis has an injury. He practiced today with the first line, but I guess he wasn't ready to go.
I agree. Malkin needs to get off the point on the power play ASAP.
