The Colorado Avalanche are in a similar situation as the Pittsburgh Penguins. There team has a number of key injuries, they are currently not winning many games and they are looking at the playoff picture from the outside.
That doesn't mean this will be an easier game for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
As we saw on Thursday night, this Pittsburgh team has the ability to lose to anyone at anytime, regardless of the current situation.
Chris Minard has been called up for the Penguins, but it doesn't look like he will be in the line-up today. The Pittsburgh Penguins line-up is identical to the one that started the game in Nashville. Hopefully they finish the game better than they did on Thursday night.
Prediction: 5-3 Penguins
