Maxime Talbot, whose current contract was scheduled to end after this season, has signed a two-year deal with the Penguins.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
I'm glad to see Talbot re-sign. I was a little worried that the Penguins would wait until the offseason to work on a new contract, as they typically have.
Talbot is an important part of this team and I'm happy that he'll be locked up for an additional couple of seasons.

I was happy to see this post today. Talbot plays hard and is key in the locker room. And, I mean, I would hate to see the Penguins play with out their #1 Fu Manchu.
