Mats Sundin Signs with Vancouver Canucks

Mats Sundin has signed with the Vancouver Canucks.

This isn't Penguins-related, but it does end the excruciatingly long wait.

The choices for Sundin came down to Vancouver or the New York Rangers.

The long-time Leafs captain will return to his former home as a member of the opposition when the Leafs play the Canucks in Toronto on February 21st.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but I would assume it is a one year deal.

The Sundin signing gives the Canucks the veteran presence they lost when Markus Naslund signed with the New York Rangers this summer.
