After struggling after Martin Brodeur went down with an injury, the Devils have won seven out of their last eight games. In fact, their only loss since November 15th was the last time they played the Penguins. Goaltender Scott Clemmensen is 5-1-0 with a 1.96 goals-against average in six starts since Nov. 20, with the last loss coming in that same game against the Penguins.

Meanwhile, the Penguins have some serious injury problems and some serious problems scoring on the powerplay. They've lost three out of their last four games and still have a problem holding leads. Tim Wallace is expected to play his first game for the Penguins tonight, filling in for the injured Mike Zigomanis.

Crosby recorded a hat trick in the last game against the Devils and he and Malkin are still one and two in the NHL scoring race. Michel Therrien wasn't happy with the team's performance against Buffalo and he made a point to work on the powerplay at practice. It will be interesting to see what develops.

Prediction: 3-2 Penguins
