The Montreal Canadiens' javascript is leading the voting for the NHL All Star Game. TSN and Habs fans around the world are celebrating already by rioting in the streets of Montreal. Okay, that last part isn't true.
Speaking of the Canadiens, the NHL All Star Team* lost 6-1 to the Boston Bruins last night. It was the first time the Bruins have defeated the Canadiens in 13 regular season games.
In another blowout, the San Jose Sharks scored four goals in the first period and went on to defeat the Calgary Flames 6-1 in San Jose.
Also out west, the Vancouver Canucks unveiled their new third jersey. I think it's a very nice, classic-looking jersey.
It wasn't all good news for the Canucks however as it was announced yesterday that defenseman Kevin Bieksa would miss 10 games with a fractured left foot.
