Marc-Andre Fleury Will Sit Out Tuesday's Game with Minor Injury

Marc-Andre Fleury will miss the Penguins next game with an undisclosed injury. Team officials are saying the injury is not serious. Dany Sabourin will get the start Tuesday night against Minnesota.

"It's not a major injury," said Penguins coach Michel Therrien. "We just don't want to take a risk."

Fleury was reportedly injured in the third period of the Penguins/Sabres game on Saturday night. It is unknown at this point how long he will be out of action.

Hopefully it isn't too long. Dany Sabourin has played very well so far this season, but I do not want to see him starting more than 2 or 3 games in a row. He can play well in spurts, but isn't the most consistent goaltender there is. I also hope that Fleury did not aggravate the ankle injury that kept him out of action for a long period last season.

Hopefully Fleury can return shortly, but it is still early in the season and it's good that the Penguins are not taking any risks by having Fleury play when he's injured. It's not worth possibly losing him for a long period of time.
